Michael Tanner Philips who is the former bodyguard of hip hop artist Future was shot and killed in his Georgia home this past Monday. Lieutenant Frank Thomas of the Clayton County Police Department said quote

"Some of the neighbors heard some arguing and some gunshots. We're still interviewing some of them to try and piece together everything at this time."

Apparently the gunmen fled the scene in a vehicle. No arrests have been made at this time

Kanye West And Chance the Rapper Teaming Up To Drop GOOD Friday Track?

Kanye West recently released his track list for his new album SWISH which is supposed to be released on February the eleventh. However fans may have even more to look forward to. Apparently Big Boy from Real 92.3. Hinted that Kanye West and Chance the Rapper might be collaborating on a long awaited GOOD Friday track. He posted quote:

“Good Friday is running a lil late. They're creating something from scratch in here. Not only is Chance The Rapper a lyrical beast.....he's also a GREAT photographer.”

Chance the rapper is a lyrical beast, and if the speculations are true, he should prove to be an awesome addition to the album.

Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 Release Date

Season three has been confirmed for Tokyo Ghoul, however fans have been voicing their disappointment about how Funimation handled the manga series and rather than a new season, they are demanding a reboot of the series all together. However this will be fairly unlikely to happen seeing that Funimation is far too deep in the series to turn back now.

Attack On Titan Season 2 ending the Series?

There is a speculation that the next season of Attack on Titan will mark the end of the series. No reason yet as to why however the manga will continue nonetheless.

Akira Toriyama Disapproval of Dragon Ball Super

Akria  Toryiama, creator of my all-time favorite manga series Dragon Ball, expressed his  disappointment in the latest installment in the series Dragon Ball Super. Now this isn’t the first time he has had issues with the show. He says and Ill quote:

“Inside, I've been upset at 'Dragon Ball' in the past, as well as the live-action film that came later, I've revised the script for the anime film, and I've complained about the quality of the TV anime. Maybe someday it'll be a work that I'll like so much that I won't be able to leave it alone."

The live action film he is referring to was called Dragon Ball Evolution, which in my opinion was a disgrace to every true Dragon ball fan.

Fortunately Toriyama is working to transform the script for the new series and we can expect great things.

Perception

Former BioShock, and Dead Space developers have been hard at work on a new horror game called “Perception”. The game puts the player in the shoes of a blind woman who uses sound vibrations to get around. The player will be in the traditional haunted house setting and will be taken on a terrifying time warp.  The concept of a blind protagonist is especially interesting because it taps into ones natural fear of the unknown. The blindness in the game creates a constant sense of uncertainty and vulnerability which is essential for a quality horror game.

Far Cry Primal

Ubisoft’s upcoming Far Cry Primal is set to take place during the Stone Age.  The game revolves around a man named Takkar who has the unique ability to tame animals. The game will feature tribal warfare and hunting. From what it sounds like the game will collide the History and Fantasy in a very unique way. The creators did some serious research to give the game the maximum level of authenticity possible. They even go so far as to create a language based on Proto-Indo European languages that will be spoken by the characters. I think that this game will stand out because of that since a lot of historically based games regardless of the country they take place in just have their characters speak plain English. The game is set to release on February 23 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and March 1 for PC.

Spider-man Reboot going Imax

Sony is planning to reboot the Spider-man franchise that won’t be tied an any way to their Amazing Spider-man series. If that isn’t already exciting enough, they are planning to make their release on the Imax. Spider-man fans can expect to get a glimpse of their favorite web slinging hero in the Upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie which is set to release this summer.

The Star Wars Franchise has many more movies on the way

As of right now Disney has confirmed that there are five more Star Wars movies in the making as we speak, however Disney’s chairman Bob Iger has told BBC that there is even more to look forward to over the horizon. He stated, and I quote:

“There are five Star Wars films … that are in varying stages of development and production. There will be more after that. I don't know how many, I don't know how often.”

This is of course thinking many years down the line, but it’s good to know that one of our all-time favorite movie franchises isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
