Xbox Live Back On Track

Xbox users were sending in their complaints on Tuesday due to their inability to sign into Xbox Live. However according to Microsoft all issues are resolved and players can get back online. Xbox support tweeted quote:

“The previous issues with sign-in should now be resolved! If you're still having any trouble, we're here to help out.”

Conan Exiles

Last month Funcom announced one of their projects that will be coming this summer. Conan Exiles is a game that puts the player in the shoes of a fugitive who was to be crucified in a desert wasteland. However the player is confronted by Conan The Barbarian who frees the player, hands them an ax, and sends them off to fend for themselves. Within the early parts of the game the player will be forced to hunt for themselves, build shelter, and scavenge for resources. The overall goal in the game is for to the player build themselves a society, and ultimately a kingdom.

Audio Push Upcoming Album

The HS87 rap group, Audio Push gave Hip Hop DX an insight into the inspiration for their upcoming album Stone Junction. Apparently the Cali artists were inspired from their stay in Stone Mountain Georgia. Price told Hip Hop DX quote:

"We're obviously from the IE [Inland Empire] so to switch it up from what we're used to which is Cali, the IE, the West Coast and go to Atlanta and catch a whole new vibe, our synergy levels were like crazy."

From what they said, it sounds like they plan to take their usual west coast sound that were used to hearing from them, and possibly put a Southside twist to it. Their latest album Inside The Vibe was released Febuary 2, and you can check it out today on Sound Cloud.

Kendrick Lamar Grammy Nomination

Kendrick Lamar made Hip hop history earlier this week after becoming the first rapper to be nominated for eleven Grammy awards in one night, surpassing Eminem. His nominations include Album Of The Year, and Song Of The Year.

Jay Rock Injured

Unfortunately Jay Rock, one of my favorite Top Dog Entertainment artists, was seriously injured in a terrible motorcycle accident on Monday. Apparently he has quite a few broken bones, but fortunately he isn’t an any type of coma and will hopefully recover over time.

Naughty By Nature Lauches Kickstarter For 25th Anniversary Album

Legendary rap group Naughty By Nature is approaching their 25 year anniversary and to celebrate, the group has started a kick starter project to fund the production of their 25^th anniversary album. In a joint statement the group said quote:

“What this campaign is about is just the celebration of our 25 years in the music industry. We’re inviting you to celebrate with us, Kickstarter is the sign of the times...We felt like this would be the perfect time to [release] new music but we needed the support from the fans. We wanted to see if they really wanted the new album. Now that we’re veterans, we can go directly to the fans."
