Award winning movie director Sam Mendes is in the early talks
of directing a Live-Action “James And The Giant Peach” movie for Disney. This
will be a remake 1996 stop motion classic based on a the novel by bestselling
author Roald Dahl. It follows the story of a young boy by the name of James
Trotter who lives with his two abusive aunts. He is suddenly sucked into a giant
magical peach where he befriends a group of life-sized insects and sets sail on
an epic voyage to New York City.
